Develop philosophy of honesty
We live in a world of broken promises. Nowadays people do not take seriously. Inviting his girlfriend for dinner next week, we understand that for this we simply will not be free time.Promising to bring a colleague grown fond us a new book, we clearly recognize that this is contrary to our rule not to give anyone their books. We also promise to myself that this year the loans to their health, we begin to live more simply and more joyous, but do not show serious intent to achieve significant changes in life necessary to achieve these goals.
Over time, the habit of speaking is not what we think, is rooted in us. Inability to keep the word turns into a disaster of this - you are no longer considered reliable. If you do not feel safe, then you undermine the foundations of credibility. A loss of confidence will inevitably lead to rupture of human bonds.
To develop a philosophy of honesty, try to count how many "small untruths" you do not hesitate to say during the week. In the next seven days for a device that I call "the Lenten days of the truth", allowing myself to be totally honest in relationships with others and with yourself. Every time dodging a good deed, you develop the habit of speaking the truth. Promising someone to do something, be sure to do it.Be a man of his word, and not the person from whom the "noise a lot, but of little help."
As Mother Teresa said: "We need to talk less, because the preaching is not a rally. What do you do? Just take the broom and sweep the floor in the house of another person. This will be your action more eloquently than any words. "
