Every day to show kindness to a stranger

Robin S. Sharma

Every day to show kindness to a stranger

While on his deathbed, Aldous Huxley thought about what might be generalizing wisdom, based on the lessons of his life, and expressed it in a few words, "be kind to each other."

Too often we think that most full self-realization in this life can only be committing a great or heroic deed by which our portraits appear on the front pages of newspapers and on magazine covers. Larger errors I do not know. Contrary to popular belief, full life consists of daily good deeds, which, although modest by nature, methodically create true greatness of human nature.

Anyone who is found on our path of life, teaches us a lesson to learn or story to story. Each day consists of the points made a fleeting encounter with any person, giving us the opportunity to once again show their sympathy and kindness to, which clearly defines our humanness.

Why not start to show our true nature and do everything possible to improve the world around us?

I believe that if during the day you were able to bring a smile to HoTs on one person or to cheer up a stranger, it is not in vain through the day. Quite simply, kindness - a kind of tax that each of us must pay to live on this planet. Providing compassion to a stranger, be inventive. Start your kindness in ordinary everyday situations: driving a car across the bridge fare for him for the driver behind you the next, in the subway Give place a disabled person, or just say hello to every person they encounter you.

I recently received a letter from Washington State from a woman, that's what she wrote:

"As usual, instead of tithe, I send money to people who helped my spiritual formation. Please attached to this letter a check for $ 100 as a token of my gratitude and blessings to you. " Her generosity touched me, and I immediately sent her a tape of one of my speeches on radio. Kindness of this woman and her noble soul urge is a shining example of how important it is to give something to another person while remaining genuinely sincere.
