Release the past and strive for the future

Release the past and strive for the future

Miss Caroline, a very famous doctor-intuitionists, warns that "the biography becomes biology." Painful or traumatic memories, negative attitudes and beliefs can become part of our body. If we do not forgive and not let the past, it will stay in our cells and constantly work on the biochemistry of our body.

The main source of disease and injury is feeling like a victim. For this state is characterized by a belief that someone has done something against you, what you could not affect or in any way to correct ("She dumped me," "He betrayed me," "My mother never let me not really fond of, "" My stepfather treated me cruelly, "" My boss drove me, "" They expected me too much. ") Positioning himself as a "wounded victim," or martyr, we revel in self-pity, looking for sympathy and support, or have an excuse in case of any failure or collapse. But for this we have to pay too much.

Some people are paying for the role of a victim of its own. Twenty years ago I worked as a psychotherapist with people with cancer.I was amazed at how quickly I began to understand which of them was completely cured. Some patients were to my office are configured to do anything, just to let go of the past and achieve a positive new future. Others were determined to live in the past and blaming yourself and others in his illness. Hopefully, you guessed it, one of them recovered?

Disease - is the way our body gradually let go of the emotions that we refuse to acknowledge and express. Resentment, anger, shame, fear, sorrow, hatred and even love can be suppressed and kept in the body, manifesting as physical symptoms for months or even years later.

It is important to respect the emotions. When we let go of the past, this does not mean that we deny it or pretend as if nothing had happened. This means that we allow emotions to flow freely through us in the form of energy. In this case we do not advocate or condone them. (Sometimes it is helpful to share your feelings with a good friend or a doctor. Of course, if they do not support your martyrdom.) Also need to let go of those negative beliefs that support those emotions. For example, the belief that with you that something is wrong. You definitely need to forgive and let go of the past.

There is another source of ill health. You can get sick and if you do not do what is intended for your soul and give up their dreams. And when you constantly ignore the hints of the deep "I" (perhaps out of fear or low self-esteem), the internal conflict certainly lead to illness, anxiety or depression. If you feel you are trapped or unable to change the situation, or are unable to let go of your unwanted responsibilities, you can free yourself through illness or accident. (A tired woman, workaholic, who suffers from breast cancer, told me that he experienced a strange relief when she heard the diagnosis.)

If you're already sick, it is important to honestly look back and see why you need this disease was. That you have benefited for yourself? You may have found love and attention of loved ones, to avoid responsibility, to punish someone, or get a break, finally, your needs come out on top? (Perhaps we should find a healthy way to meet these needs?) Now look how expensive your illness. This discomfort, weakness, limitation of activities, medical care, loss of income, stress in your family. Think about whether all this is your sickness?

Whatever the symptoms, you should come to a conscious decision to be healthy. Then follow the instincts and take whatever steps it tells you. Always strive for the future and to how you want to be, do not get hung up his past and the image is already long past events. Try to see a vivid image of a healthy future and give it to every cell of your body.
