Eleven-Angela seriously ill, and this led to the depletion of the nervous system. The girl could not walk, the body does not obey her. Doctors did not make optimistic forecasts about its recovery. They predicted that Angela will have to spend my life in a wheelchair, but she bravely took them words. Lying on a hospital bed, she told everyone that ever again will surely go.
Angela was transferred to a specialized rehabilitation clinic of San Francisco in the Bay area. Doctors admired the fortitude and resilience eleven girls, they suggested she imagine that she is walking the streets. If treatment does not bring positive results, so they should at least Angela will find hope that will brighten up many hours of her stay in a hospital bed!
In a wheelchair, Angela has consistently risen to the prescribed treatment and perform her special exercises, but just as hard, she followed the advice of doctors and represented as walks, moves, runs.
Once, when Angela mentally focused on these representations, a miracle happened: got off the bed on which lay a little girl! Angela screamed:
- Look! Look! I move, move!
On her screams came running up the patients and staff the clinic. She stood up unimaginable turmoil, medical equipment fell, glassware broke. What happened? San Francisco earthquake. But Angela did not say about it. She was convinced that her dream has come true.
Several years passed, and now Angela returned to school. She travels alone, without crutches and wheelchair. Perhaps the one who shook the ground in the area between San Francisco and Oakland, was able to help girls cope with serious illness and overcome it?
