Philosophy / Epistemology of NLP

Philosophy / Epistemology of NLP

Epistemology of NLP is based on constructivist ideas, first expressed Emmanuilom Kant, and then developed in the framework of general semantics. REFLEXIVE describes what we know, how do we know what we know and how do we know what we know. Part epistemology of NLP is the statement of Alfred Kozhibski (Korzybski, 1933/1994): "" map "- not" territory. " What we know and feel "inside" a ( "subjective experience"), differs fundamentally from the fact that there is "outside" (ie "territory"). What we know and feel inside yourself a "map" towards "territory" - map could reprezentirovat territory, consistent with it, reflect it, to symbolize it - but it is not the territory. These two phenomena ( "map", and "territory") are at different levels (surface called "subjective" and "objective" levels of experience). How to write Dilts, Bendler, Grinder and Deloze (Dilts, Bandler, Grinder & DeLozier, 1980), this means that we do not operate directly by the world:

"Instead, we operate coded interpretations of the environment, received and experienced by our sensory systems of representative: images, sounds, smells, tastes and sensations (tactile, and proprioceptive). Information about our internal world (as well as our internal state) is perceived, organized, grouped and passed to the internal system of nerve tracts, which ends in the brain, our central bioprotsessore. This information is then transformed by internal processing strategies, which have each person "

We are operating directly, but not with peace but with our "maps" of peace. The models that we create to interact with the world, demand that we have identified and reprezentirovali two things: (1) a set of structural elements and (2) syntax.

We are operating directly, but not with peace but with our "maps" of peace. The models that we create to interact with the world, demand that we have identified and reprezentirovali two things: (1) a set of structural elements and (2) syntax. Structural elements are integral components, and syntax - a set of rules or instructions describing the manner in which we can assemble these components together.

Epistemology of NLP is constructivist, therefore, like other Western scientific models, it is based on touch and experience the transformation of environmental factors in the decision-making. Consequently, it focuses more on form rather than on content, but differs from other models that include the observer.

Exploring the way the brain is formed (or constructs) the internal representation, creating a state of consciousness, NLP takes a systems approach to consciousness and body. Consciousness and body, culture, language, etc. form a complex system in which no part does not operate in isolation from other parts.

Under constructivism, we are aware of the fact that we are not dealing with the territory (the first level of reality), but only caused by our internal realities.

First Kozhibski followed the model of the truth, that is, he believed that our model should correspond to the territory. He then argues for a pragmatic model of truth, that is to say that we need a model that would allow us to function effectively, even if the "map" was not exactly "territory".HYPNOSIS
